About the Role
We're seeking passionate students and early-career researchers to join our Quantum Research & Development team. This internship provides a rare opportunity to work on cutting-edge quantum computing research, quantum algorithms, and quantum sensing technologies under the guidance of experienced quantum physicists and researchers.
What You'll Do
- Quantum Research: Participate in research projects involving quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum sensing
- Simulations & Analysis: Run quantum simulations using tools like Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane and analyze results
- Literature Review: Read and summarize recent quantum computing research papers
- Experiments: Assist with experimental setups and data collection (for on-site interns)
- Presentations: Present research findings in team meetings and learning sessions
- Documentation: Help document research methodologies, results, and insights
- Collaboration: Work with physicists, engineers, and software developers on interdisciplinary projects
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong foundation in quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Interest in quantum computing, quantum information theory, or quantum technologies
- Programming experience in Python or similar languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or research experience in quantum computing or quantum information
- Familiarity with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, Q#)
- Understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Experience with scientific computing (NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib)
- Knowledge of quantum error correction or quantum machine learning
- Previous research experience or publications

Internship Details
- Duration: 3-6 months (flexible, can be extended)
- Work Mode: Hybrid (on-site in Lucknow) or fully remote options available
