About the Role
Join our Software Engineering team as an intern and gain hands-on experience building cutting-edge quantum computing software and web applications. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world projects while learning from experienced engineers in the quantum technology space.
What You'll Do
- Software Development: Contribute to building web applications, APIs, and developer tools for quantum computing platforms
- Code Review & Testing: Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews with senior engineers
- Learning & Growth: Attend technical workshops, pair programming sessions, and mentorship meetings
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including quantum physicists, designers, and product managers
- Documentation: Help create technical documentation and tutorials for internal and external users
- Innovation: Propose and implement improvements to existing codebases and workflows
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Rust)
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web development (React, Next.js, Node.js, or similar frameworks)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Interest in quantum computing or scientific computing
- Previous internship or project experience
- Contributions to open-source projects
